Leave all your troubles behind at Laughter Yoga.Come and experience the benefits of shared laughter. Laughter brings a multitude of health benefits including lowering stress, improving the immune system, lifting mood & improving brain function. Often described as a ‘free face-lift’, laughter is excellent for improving circulation, relieving tension and bringing joy. Come and give yourself a boost. No yoga experience is required. Course : Workshop for Wealth Paying it Forward - Personal Dvelopment Date : Sunday, 26th February 2012 Tutor : Anita Alleyne Description As a complimentary therapist what is your biggest challenge? Worrying that there other therapists offering the same treatments as yours? Struggling with developing a client base client base, so that you can make a living? Want to build your business, but don’t know where to start? Anita Alleyne M.A. recently launched a 3 hour Workshop for Wealth, offered at no charge for complimentary therapists. Workshop for Wealth is typically a two - day course. The special mini version supports holistic business, having its focus on the Belief Change process, during which time participants can change limiting beliefs about wealth and money, to new empowering beliefs, that attract clients and build practitioner business, while benefitting the people in their lives. One participant in the pilot session, didn’t even know that she had a limiting belief that had her undervaluing her work and her worth, undercharging for her time, sometimes giving her treatments away. Course : Introduction to Indian Head Massage Date : Saturday, 3rd March 2012 Tutor : Julie Linton Description We will learn the techniques and sequence of Indian Head Massage over clothing, to share with friends and family. The weekend will also include some anatomy made easy and working with chakras. Course : Children's Art and Craft Taster Session Date : Monday, 2nd April 2012 Tutor : Carol Haynes - Experienced Arts Practitioner and Craft Teacher Description At the Meridian Centre we are always looking for new things to try. With this in mind, and the approach of the school summer holidays, Carol is offering an opportunity for 5 - 11 year olds, to get creative and take part in a taster of an Arts and Crafts morning which we are considering making a regular feature. Payment is based on minimum donation to cover all materials and snacks. Advanced booking is ideal please so Carol can ensure there are adequate materials available. Course : Craft Activity and Yoga for Children 5 - 11 years Date : Tuesday, 3rd April 2012 Tutor : Carol Haynes Description Mixing it up with Art activity and yoga, engaging the childrens minds some gentle stretching exercise for the body! Carol is experienced in working with children and passionate about both yoga and Arts and Crafts. This morning gives her the perfect opportunity to combine both, and an ideal opportunity for young children to explore and try new experiences. Materials, snacks and drinks are included.
